About Sally Peters

Sally A. Peters is president and founder of SA Peters Marketing and Consulting, Inc. With over 25 years of marketing and communications experience in the financial services arena, Ms. Peters is a highly motivated, creative professional. Ms. Peters has proven success in creating innovative campaigns to increase brand awareness, motivate staff to build relationships and grow market share. She has expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, marketing research and trends, community relations, sales training, coaching and merchandising, and developing programs for new products and services. Best of all – she has a passion for bank marketing!
 
Prior to becoming a consultant in 2004, Ms. Peters was Vice President, Director of Marketing at Community First Bank in Lansing, Michigan where she developed and implemented a total marketing program for the Bank. When Community First Bank was sold to Old Kent (now Fifth Third), Ms. Peters, along with five of her bank partners, formulated the overall business plan and marketing strategy to open an Internet Bank. And, on the insurance front, she was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Accident Fund Insurance Company of America.  
 
SA Peters Marketing and Consulting, Inc. is a member of and communications consultant for the Community Bankers of Michigan and is a general member of the Michigan Certified Development Corporation. She has a long-time history of following the research presented by Raddon Financial Group, a leader in providing financial and marketing analysis to the financial services industry, and participates in the training sessions offered by Roxanne Emmerich, president of the Emmerich Group, a leader in “kick-butt” marketing and culture change initiatives.
 
Ms. Peters also participates in continuing leadership development through the Executive Leader Program, from Varnum Consulting/Nancy Skinner & Associates, where she has access to a large network of leaders.
